2018 “THE ANTICIPATORS”

Pärnu Artist’s House Gallery
August-September 2018

THE ANTICIPATORS” was an exhibition (15.08- 08.09.2018) in the Pärnu Artists’ House. The exhibited works are speaking about the perception of time from the viewpoint of static and tense anticipation—the state of being in a constant abstract expectation. Waiting is, after all, a part of our everyday life. At the same time, it is also a general existential challenge. Throughout life, people are constantly waiting for something, may it be more or less important: taxis, messages, love, or death. Waiting is a state where present and potential future come together. At first glance, this state seems static but it is vibrating from the inside out.
